Medical Dutch

Since 2017, foreign medical professionals who want to work in the Netherlands are required to have a proof of their proficiency of Dutch for their registration in the BIG register.

The certificate of the Dutch Language Exam for Medical professionals (Taaltoets Nederlands voor medici) is a proof of language proficiency for the BIG register. This exam tests the language and communication skills that are required in health care. The level of the language test is B2 / C1.
